Why industrial businesses are looking outside of Edmonton's city limits

Greater Edmonton Area.jpg

The strength of Edmonton's industrial market has a lot to do with the strength of the many surrounding markets that further support the City's industries and connect the communities as a whole.  In the map above, I've outlined the major peripheral communities that service and work with the businesses located within Edmonton.  As you can see, there are markets on all sides of the City, and they are located easily within driving distance.  Furthermore, these markets are often better located to major arterial routes, headed north to Fort McMurray, East to Lloydminster, South to Calgary, and West to British Columbia, to name a few.

Have a look at this video clip where I discuss the strength of Edmonton's peripheral markets. With beneficial economics, more available options and new access provided by Edmonton's ring road, these markets are looking more attractive for both landlords and tenants.
